DiY Decor Kits Rental Policy

1. Booking & Payment

  • A booking is confirmed only upon advance payment.
  • Remaining balance (if any) must be cleared before or at pickup.
  • All prices are subject to HST.

2. Security Deposit

  • A refundable security deposit of $300 is collected at pickup.
  • The deposit is returned after all items are received in original condition.
  • Any damages or missing items will be deducted from the deposit.

3. Rental Duration

  • Standard rental period is 2 days.
  • Late returns may result in additional charges.

4. Pickup & Return

  • All items are pickup and drop-off only from our location.
  • Items must be returned on time and in the same packaging/condition.

5. Cleaning & Condition

  • Items must be returned in reasonably clean condition.
  • Minor wear is acceptable.

Additional cleaning charges may apply for:

  • Food stains
  • Henna (mehendi) stains
  • Wax, oil, or colour stains
  • Excessive dirt or outdoor damage

Cleaning charges will be deducted based on the extent of cleaning required.

6. Damage & Loss

Customers are responsible for any:

  • Damaged items
  • Missing items
  • Broken structures or props

Charges will be based on repair or replacement cost.

7. Usage Guidelines

  • Items must be used indoors or in safe weather conditions.
  • Avoid exposure to:
    • rain
    • strong wind
    • mud or rough surfaces
  • Do not:
    • cut, tape, or glue directly on items
    • modify any materials

8. Cancellation Policy

  • The advance payment made for booking confirmation is non-refundable in nature.

9. Setup Responsibility

  • Setup is the customer’s responsibility.
  • Instructions/videos are provided for guidance.
  • We are not responsible for improper setup or misuse.

10. Media Usage

  • By booking with us, you agree that photos/videos of setups may be used for:
    • social media
    • marketing purposes

11. General

  • By confirming a booking, you agree to all the above terms.
